- Pat the pork chops dry with paper towels.
- Season both sides with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.

- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium-high heat.
- Sear the pork chops for 3–4 minutes per side until deeply golden.
- Transfer to a plate.

- Reduce heat to medium.
- Add butter and sliced onions.
- Cook slowly for 15–20 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the onions are soft, sweet, and deeply caramelized.

- Add the garlic and cook for 30 seconds until fragrant.

- Cook for 1 minute while stirring constantly.
