One-Pot Beef & Herb Rigatoni

Ingredients
  

  • 12 oz Rigatoni
  • 1 lb Beef
  • 1 Onion chopped
  • 3 tbsp Butter
  • 1 tbsp Olive oil
  • 2 tsp Garlic minced
  • 1 can Tomato crushed
  • 3/4 cup Cream (swap with milk if simmered longer first)
  • 3/4 cup Parmesan cheese grated
  • 1/2 tsp Oregano dried
  • 1/2 tsp Basil dried
  • 1/4 cup Pasta water
  • Salt + pepper
  • Parsley garnish, optional

Method
 

  1. Brown beef + onion + garlic in butter + oil 6 min until paste darkens lightly.
  2. Add tomatoes + herbs + dairy + pasta water, simmer 6–8 min to coating-thick.
  3. Add cheese slowly to glossy melt.
  4. Add black pepper and fold in rigatoni.
  5. Garnish and serve warm.
