This Cheesy Pull-Apart Garlic Bread is loaded with gooey melted mozzarella, brushed with rich garlic herb butter, and baked until golden and crispy around the edges. It's the kind of side dish that steals the spotlight from the main course.

Ingredients
  

  • 1 large artisan loaf sourdough or Italian bread
  • ½ cup unsalted butter melted
  • 4 cloves garlic minced
  • 1 tablespoon fresh parsley chopped
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • ¼ teaspoon salt
  • 2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese

Method

  1. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C).
  2. Line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
  3. Using a serrated knife, cut the bread into a crosshatch pattern, being careful not to cut all the way through.
  4. In a bowl, combine melted butter, garlic, parsley, Italian seasoning, and salt.
  5. Drizzle the garlic butter mixture deep into the cuts of the bread.
  6. Stuff mozzarella and Parmesan cheese between the slices.
  7. Wrap the loaf loosely in foil.
  8. Bake for 15 minutes.
  9. Uncover and bake an additional 5 minutes, or until the cheese is melted and the top is golden.
  10. Garnish with extra parsley and serve immediately.
