- 4 Eggs large
- 1 cup Whole milk (or half-and-half for richer flavor)

- 8 Slices bread thickly cut
- 2 tbsp Unsalted butter (for cooking)

Make the BatterIn a large shallow bowl, whisk together eggs, milk, sugar, vanilla extract, cinnamon, and salt until smooth and well blended. Preheat PanHeat a nonstick skillet or griddle over medium heat and melt Β½ tablespoon of butter to coat the surface. Dip the BreadDip each slice of bread into the egg mixture, soaking for about 5 seconds on each side. Let excess drip off. Cook the ToastPlace soaked bread slices onto the hot skillet. Cook until golden brown on one side (2β3 minutes), then flip and cook another 2β3 minutes until both sides are golden and crisp. RepeatAdd more butter to the pan as needed and repeat until all slices are cooked.
